Step-by-Step Execution

Step 1 — Physical Setup (2 minutes)

  • Sit upright on a chair or floor

  • Spine vertical

  • Hands resting naturally

  • Eyes gently closed

No mudras.
No adjustments after starting.


Step 2 — Attention Placement (3 minutes)

  • Place attention on natural breathing

  • Do not regulate breath

  • Do not deepen or slow it

Breathing is used as a reference point only.


Step 3 — Open Observation Phase (10–15 minutes)

Maintain attention with the following rule:

Notice when attention moves.
Do not bring it back deliberately.

You are not training focus yet.
You are mapping instability.

Observe:

  • thought intrusion

  • body impulses

  • urge to adjust

  • impatience

No correction.


Step 4 — Silence Hold (3–5 minutes)

Remove all reference points.

  • No breath focus

  • No object focus

Remain seated.
Allow silence or noise to occur without interference.


Step 5 — Closure (2–3 minutes)

Open eyes slowly.
Remain seated briefly.

Do not reflect immediately.
Do not journal today.


Post-Session Instruction

After completing the session:

  • Resume normal activity

  • Do not discuss the experience

  • Do not label results

Proceed to Day 2 only the next day.
